美联储根据440万条推文构建新版加息幅度预测指标

5月份（稍早），美联储根据推特数据创建了一个新的指标，以衡量信贷和金融市场信心，该指标课用于预估联邦公开市场委员会（FOMC）政策立场的变化。美联储理事会在一篇文章中指出，“推特金融信心指数”（TFSI）采用推特这个社交媒体上的自然语言，可以帮助预判次日的股市回报情况。如果美联储意外地收紧政策，信心会恶化；该指标还能预测美联储的加息幅度。
